Nine Pillars

This model, which started with six pillars almost 20 years ago, now defines nine pillars which support and strengthen each other and allow the creation of a successful system with happy customers and implementers alike.

Regardless of development methodology used, these nine pillars must be attended to and managed. No surprises here!

The pillars include: implementing good project management systems, developing attainable schedules, assigning the right people to the team at the right time, communicating fairly and honestly, delivering a suitable production ready system, and providing strong post-Go-Live support, among others.
